March 31, 2005 -- Debut of our "All Saints" Gallery!
We finally finished it, our screencap gallery of Rhiana's appearance on All Saints! As always, we have a lot of caps in the gallery. There are two reasons for this. One is that our webmistress is an obsessive-compulsive nut, but the other is that, when we watch Rhiana frame-by-frame, we're always amazed at the extraordinary amount of nuance in her performances. She does the most amazing things with her eyes, lips, and facial muscles, and the play of expressions, from frame to frame, builds into an incredible story. Anyway, follow along in the galleries and you'll see what we mean, and you can also watch .mpeg files of her performances and experience them for yourself!

Just amazing, as always! That's our Rhiana, and this sort of gutsy acting is why some of us call her "The Australian Parker Posey!"

A filmography page all about the episode is coming soon!

March 25, 2005 -- First Look at "The Obedience Study!"
We've received a beautiful production still from the film's director, JD Cohen, showing Rhiana as Clare Newell, a journalism student who's about to get a lot more than she bargained for when she signs up to participate in a psychology experiment.

Isn't she gorgeous? We're dying to learn more!

March 21, 2005 -- Rhiana in a New Starring Role!!!
We have wonderful news! Rhiana is going to be starring in a psychological thriller!

Early word has come to us from the film's producer and has been confirmed by Rhiana's agents. The film's working title is "Volunteer." Rhiana will be portraying a college student who is trying to uncover the unethical practices of one of her professors, in how he conducts his psychology studies.

A short-film "teaser" sequence, called "The Obedience Study," just wrapped principal photography over the weekend, and is going to be taken to the Cannes Film Market in May!

We're extremely excited about this, and hope to have even more news about it soon!

February 26, 2005 -- Fantastic Success, Wearable Art, and Sim Rhiana!
Rhiana's third art show has concluded its gallery run, another huge success! The Tighes Hill Gallery says that they still have a few copies of her book, and a few of her small paintings, left for people who want to contact them, but those are in very limited supply. In more lovely news, Rhiana is contributing works to the gallery's next show, which opens today -- a wearable art collection featuring a number of local designers.

In other lovely news, we have a new fan artist who has contributed her work, a beautiful Rhiana Sim for use with The Sims 2:

We know we're impressed!

February 3, 2005 -- Let the Revelry Begin!
Today's the big day! Rhiana and Damien's joint exhibition opens at the Tighes Hill Gallery! This exhibition pairs big brother Damien's poetry with little sister Rhiana's paintings, and will run through the 20th at the gallery. In addition to the paintings, a limited-edition book of the works has been published and is being sold as well. The siblings are donating part of the proceeds from the sales to the UNICEF Tsunami Relief fund.

There's still time to purchase a copy of this limited-edition book. You can contact the Tighes Hill Gallery (serious inquiries only, please). Also, check out Rhiana's page on the gallery website for a look at several of the beautiful paintings in the exhibition.

The exhibition is making news in Australia, of course, and we have two new articles about it. One is from the Maitland Mercury, and the other is from the Newcastle Herald, and both are delightful reads.

Things have been quiet for the last month or so on RGFC because a bunch of our staff has been involved in a design project for another website that's preparing to launch. In a few more weeks, though, we plan to have a lot of new things going on again... and in the meantime, fortunately, Rhiana's been making lots of news in her own right!

January 16, 2005 -- Flicker-Festivities, and Search Returns!
It's definitely a great time to be in Australia! Flickerfest is finishing up this weekend, and has that ever been exciting for us! We have two new articles about Rhiana, thanks to it. One just has a brief mention, and we're hoping maybe someone will send us a hard copy of it because it has a picture of Rhiana in it that we'd love to see! The other is the Newcastle Herald's latest spotlight of our girl as she talks about starring in Flickerfest's TV commercial!

The promotional agency for Flickerfest was also kind enough to send us a much better quality version of the Flickerfest poster, and was happy to let us share it with everyone in the fan club.

Click on the image to see an even larger, more glorious version, than you've seen before!

And now, the best news of all... Aussies, set your VCRs! Search will be airing in just a few days! If you have Showtime or Showtime2, you have a chance to catch Rhiana's performance as May, a girl stalking a man old enough to be her father. It airs on Showtime on 19 January, 2005, at 2:20 am, and then airs again on Showtime2 at 4:20 am, the same day. We wish we were there to watch it with you!

January 3, 2005 -- Sibling Revelry!
We've just gotten wonderful news -- Rhiana's next art show will begin on February 3rd at the Tighes Hill Gallery! The show is a collaborative effort between Rhiana and her older brother, poet Damien Griffith, whose poetry was used as inspiration for Rhiana's collection of paintings. In the best news of all, a limited-edition book of their work will be released as well! The print run is limited to 300 copies, so you'd better believe we're getting our orders in right away, and we urge you all to do the same!

Click here, on the cover of Rhiana's book, to access the Tighes Hill Gallery website! You'll also be able to see several of Rhiana's lovely new paintings from the collection!
